Today is the start of another baseball season. The grass is green, the hot dogs fresh. Every team is dreaming of playing in October. Sadly, this season, I am a very displaced fan. As the Braves have a terrible media contract, I will spend most of the season watching games online and hoping for highlights on TV. The Braves also inexplicably traded Craig Kimbrel (seemingly to end the dumpster fire of BJ Upton’s tenure in Atlanta) yesterday, after announcing he was on the 25 man roster. Thus ended a strange off-season in the Braves front office. Mac liked the assortment of trades and acquisitions to the start of the movie “Major League.” Here’s hoping the motley crew in Atlanta can make a run for the pennant like those Cleveland Indians. Chop chop.

I wish we had a local team here, we had so much fun going to even small team games in El Paso.

John was all about the Yankees on tv this morning! Baseball is not my thing, but it’s definitely better than basketball!

We have had to watch the Royals online for years, so it is so nice to have them on local channels again since we are back in Missouri. When I was at Clemson I went to several Braves games, so they are one of the teams I root for!

We get the Royals here but no Braves games. I’m going to have to make do with their series in July against the Rockies.
