These days, I have a queen size bed all to myself (and the cat). We keep around four pillows on the bed at all times, and I alternate sleeping on the different sides of the bed. But with all these pillows, I still only use one pillow. Well, I use part of a pillow. Now, I never gave much thought to my pillow usage until a certain gentleman caller pointed it out to me. He was genuinely bothered by the fact that I sleep only on the bottom or corner of my pillow. I was not. To each their own. He even asked me to sleep higher on the pillow. It was weird Mac is more of a pillow taco maker. He tends to fold his pillow and sleep using as much of it as possible. His pillows don’t age very well. And yes, we really do sleep this far apart. We don’t need a king bed to avoid each other in the night (for the record, he produces enough body heat to melt the polar ice caps. It’s a self-preservation thing.).

We had to get a king sized because of the dogs. They are bed hogs!

Sleeping next to John is like sleeping next to a furnace. We’re currently in a queen which is great for the two of us. When there are 5 in our bed, it’s a bit of a tight squeeze.
