I mentioned on Friday that I was driving up to PA to go wedding dress shopping with my older sister. She managed to pick the snowiest weekend of the winter, but we fought through the weather and found a dress! I don’t have any of the pics we took because they are on my mom’s camera.
Our first stop was MB Bride, a family owned boutique in Greensburg (about 10 minutes from where my parents live). They carry some of the mid-range designers and were having a Mori Lee trunk show. Leslie and her consultant went through the racks and picked several dresses, and I also grabbed two for her. I guess I have good taste because she wound up ordering the one I picked.

We also went to David’s Bridal in Monroeville. Leslie tried on a Melissa Sweet dress that she loved and several more. Ultimately, she decided to go back to the Mori Lee from MB Bride.
This is what the dress I like would look next to her dress.
