Candied pecans

Ingredients

Scale
  • 3 cups of nuts (I used pecans, you can use whatever you prefer)
  • 1 cup of sugar
  • 4 tbsp. of water
  • 1 tsp. of vanilla
  • 1 tsp. of cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp. of salt

Instructions

  1. Combine sugar, water, vanilla, cinnamon, and salt in large sauce pot.
  2. Bring to a boil and cook for 5 minutes.
  3. Fold in nuts and stir to coat evenly.
  4. Spread on a lined cookie sheet (I use non-stick tin foil) to cool. Break apart.
