Walnut white chocolate chip cookie bars

Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 3/4 cup packed brown sugar
  • 2 sticks (1 cup) of softened butter
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 1/4 cup of all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup coarsely chopped walnuts
  • 2 cups of white chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Cream butter, sugars, vanilla, and egg until light and fluffy.
  3. Stir in flour, salt, and baking soda.
  4. Fold in chips and nuts. The dough will be pretty stiff, but make sure the nuts and chips are incorporated.
  5. Press into greased 9×13 pan.
  6. Bake for 18-22 minutes. Cool completely before slicing.
