Sunday Social: TV

1. What was your favorite TV show as a kid?
Growing up, we didn’t have cable until I was eight, so I didn’t watch a lot of TV. ABC used to play movies Saturday evenings, and my favorite was always “The Sound of Music.” But my favorite show through middle and high school was Alias. I really wanted to be Sydney Bristow and kick some ass.

2. What is your current favorite TV show?
River Monsters, The Big Bang Theory, How I Met Your Mother (even though I want to punch the writers in the throat), Finding Bigfoot

3. Which reality show would you NEVER do?
Fear Factor, Survivor, The Bachelor / Bachelorette, Big Brother

4. Which reality show would you LOVE to do?
I would love to go fishing with Jeremy Wade or go hunting for Sasquatch. If we ever move out west, I’m totes going squatching. But not overnight. It would also be cool to do a spot on a cooking show.

5. What is the TV personality/character that you feel is most like you?
Sadly, many of the characters I relate to are the socially inept ones who are too smart for their own good like Sherlock Holmes (clearly, the BBC’s version) or Sheldon Cooper. I also have the annoying habit of being a bit of a know-it-all. I can’t help it.

6. Which TV character would you want to date?
Well, my husband’s not a TV character. Though I would not mind Branson from Downton Abbey. Slice me off a piece of that beef cake.
