1. What is the best trip you’ve ever been on?
I really loved going to London in high school. But I also love road trips.

2. What is your best idea for a girls’ weekend trip?
I have to say my girlfriends really helped me through the end of Mac’s deployment. We went to Blacksburg for almost every game and traveled to a few others. Nothing like Hokie football and your favorite college bars with your best friends.

I mean come on. Hokie Bird cupcakes.

3. What is your best idea for a couples’ trip?
Somewhere you’ve never been together. And the journey isn’t any less important than the destination. You can learn a lot about someone and fall even more in love with them sitting next to them in a car and talking about your dreams. Plus they’re a captive audience.

4. What is the best vacation on the cheap?
Close to home. We honeymooned in the same state. Vacation this year was pretty close, too. Check out AAA, TripAdvisor, or Budgettravel.com for options and ideas. Joining AAA will pay for itself in discounts or free breakfasts. Or the occasional 200 mile tow.

5. What is the place you most want to visit?
In the USA: Alaska. But I would love to visit Europe.
