My maid of honor?
I mentioned a few months back that my sister and her boyfriend are now engaged and that I might have already planned her entire bridal shower. Sadly, the trend of asking your bridesmaids in cute ways debuted about two weeks (I’m not really exaggerating) after I asked my ladies.
Leslie finally got around to asking me THE question. A box arrived from UPS with her company’s address on it. Silly me assumed it was Mac’s birthday present, so I made him open it. Upon seeing hot pink wrapping paper, he told me he hoped it wasn’t a bomb. Instead, we found this.
Yes, she made the cross stitch herself. |
She included some paint swatches in their colors and a few brochures of potential venues. |
Apparently, I’m too young to be a matron of honor, even though I’m married. Of course, I called her right away and gleefully accepted. And then confessed to having her whole bridal shower planned. Leslie was not surprised.
Did you ask your bridesmaids in a creative manner? Were you asked this way?

What a cute way to ask! I was maid of honor in both of my sisters’ weddings–so much fun!

Such a cute idea! I didn’t ask in a cute way but it was my sister, best friend, and cousin so they all just kind of knew. haha

That is so cute! I like how she included that extra stuff!
I asked my best friend with a poem on a bottle of my favorite wine! You can see it here:

I made cute cards to ask my bridesmaid based on those cards of the girls holding hands. And from what I’ve heard all the girls loved them. If you’re curious this is the post I wrote about them.
And I’ve yet to be in a single wedding, so I’ve never been asked to be a bridesmaid. Although even though I’m married, still think I’d rather be a maid of honor, than a matron of honor
