I think most bloggers develop crushes on other bloggers, especially when we start our own blogging journeys. Blogging can be a bit intimidating, and finding a blog you love with hundreds (or thousands) of followers and tons of sponsored posts helps you dream big. It may be cheesy, it may be a copout, but I have blogging crushes on the bloggers I follows and y’all who follow me. It’s inspiring to… View Post »
Roadtripping
So today’s prompt is about road trips. Belinda asks if we’ve ever been on one, and I had to chuckle at the thought of going on only one road trip. I’m going to divide my main trips into moves and vacations. I’ve spent a lot of time in the car, and this isn’t including random holiday trips to PA and Alabama to visit our grandparents or trips for sporting events. 1990… View Post »
10 accomplishments from the past ten years
10 years. Only a decade ago, I was in high school. I suppose I’ve done 10 cool things since then. Though when I have to come up with a list of a certain number of things, I can’t do it. So here are some of my accomplishments from the past ten years, in no particular order. 1. I graduated from college. 2. I married the same guy twice. 3. I finished two… View Post »

I’ve mentioned it before, but I traveled to London… View Post »
Italian stuffed tomatoes
Another Virginia Tech recipe here. These Italian stuffed tomatoes were a side dish in the West End dining hall’s steakhouse, and I enjoyed them with their crispy chicken. I was curious why my personal recipe tasted different from West End’s until I found the recipe in A Taste of Virginia Tech. My recipe uses breadcrumbs, West End’s does not. Either way is good, but I like the bread-less version better…. View Post »
Some of my quirks
I’ll totally admit to having a wide assortment of personality quirks. I think that one of my greatest is how particular I am. I like things to be done a certain way (my way), and it can really bother me when that doesn’t happen. Some of my other quirks – I’m not an ambi-turner – I eat pizza crust first (unless it’s stuffed crust, then it’s crust last) – When I… View Post »
