1. I’ve already been at my job for four weeks! Crazy how things are flying. And crazy how much stuff I have to fit in between two parental visits and a week of vacation coming up in July. 2. Posting here has been sparse this week because I’ve been writing so much for work. It’s a struggle to create four different recruitment trainings, and my writer’s block has extended to… View Post »
In the event of a zombie apocalypse

The other day, a friend of mine posted some random zombie protection article. For some reason, zombie apocalypses stuck in my brain, and I spent a good deal of the day musing about them. Mac’s brigade hosted Molly Pitcher Day a few weeks before our wedding to showcase just what artillery units do. They had stuff like fire exercises and an air… View Post »
Leather
Today is our third wedding anniversary and the second in a row we’ve spent apart. The traditional gift for your third anniversary is leather, so I bought Mac a new wallet and a new belt. Since he isn’t home, we will just have to celebrate when he’s back. Happy anniversary, Babe. I love you.
