Another must-see on our Nashville trip was the Country Music Hall of Fame. I’m a country music fan, so I wanted to check it out. It’s definitely a must-see for any country music fan. We squeezed in a trip after our trolley tour on our last day in Nashville. Honestly, I was so engrossed in the exhibits that I didn’t take a lot of photos. Address and Location You’ll find… View Post »
The year of exhaustion
2016 was a crazy year. I planned to kick off 2017 with a peppy post about our chaotic-as-always holidays, but then my grandfather died. We came home on a Sunday, and I was back on a plane to Pennsylvania on Friday, delayed by a blizzard that thankfully didn’t materialize on our side of the Front Range. I have a problem
Guys, I have a confession. I love books. That should come as no surprise to those of you who’ve seen the many book reviews posted here. Belle is my favorite Disney princess because she loved to read, and having a library to rival that of the Beast’s library is a major life goal (though the Maesters’ library in Game of Thrones is pretty fantastic). Nashville trolley tour

Old Town Trolley runs both the Nashville trolley tour and the tours we’ve taken in Savannah. It was also nice to check out the big spots in Nashville from the reasonable comfort of the open-air trolley on a 90+ degree day…. View Post »
The Hermitage
Another must-see for me was The Hermitage, the home of Andrew and Rachel Jackson. I read a great biography on Rachel and curious to see their famed home for myself. Photos aren’t allowed in the house, so I took some whilst wondering around the property. Address and location The Hermitage sits about 20 minutes outside Nashville at 4580 Rachel’s Lane in Hermitage, Tennessee. Parking on-site is free. Cost The Hermitage… View Post »
The Parthenon in Nashville
During our last trip to Nashville, we decided to extend our trip by a few days in order to visit the big touristy spots. Our first stop was the Parthenon. The Parthenon in Nashville was originally built as a temporary structure during Tennessee’s centennial celebration of statehood. It was so popular that it was rebuilt out of stone. It’s a good place to check out during any trip to Nashville…. View Post »
