RIng ching ching

Ahh, sorority songs.

Maybe I should’ve picked a better title for Mac’s wedding ring search. Being the delightfully ambiguous and indecisive man I love, Mac had no real requirements of his wedding ring. He preferred something on the less expensive side and a material that could endure his days of field training. I had done some research (aka reading Weddingbee) and mentioned to him that gold might not be the best option. It is a rather soft metal and a pricier one, too.

After we decided to get married, we went to the mall to check out their selection. Our first (and last and only) stop was Helzberg Diamonds, where we purchased my rings. We walked over to the men’s wedding rings and started looking. Mac noticed a simple titanium band and decided to try it on. Funny enough, I’m a member of Junior League here, and the president’s husband was our salesman. Mac slipped the ring on, it fit, he liked it and decided to buy it. I pressed him to try on a few others (one in tungsten) just to see. He indulged me but went back to the first ring. And at the bargain price of $120, it was a deal. Honestly, we were in there less than 30 minutes.
