Our final dinner in Paris was at a traditional creperie in Montmartre. On our way, we walked through the arrondissement and stopped at Sacre Coeur. Our tour guide, Mario, likes Sacre Coeur more than Notre Dame so he gave us over an hour there (while a church service was in progress, no less). Sacre Coeur sits a bit higher up in Paris, and it has fantastic views. From there, we walked a few blocks to the restaurant. After dinner, we walked down through Montmartre to the Moulin Rouge. It’s the favorite movie of one of my friends, and she wanted to see it in person. Honestly, the Moulin Rouge is still a cabaret, and it’s in a neighborhood with other burlesque shows. It’s pretty touristy so I wouldn’t say you’re unsafe, but it’s more seedy than many of your Paris tourist hotspots.
