We’re back home after a whirlwind weekend. Mac left early Friday afternoon, but we couldn’t leave right away because our new dining table set was delivered! It only took a month.

We stopped at Ikea and bought the shelves we’d found online plus a few more items.

We enjoyed lunch Saturday at Pizzeria Orso in Falls Church. It’s gourmet, Neopolitan style pizza (thin, crispy crust), but they use Kalamata olives instead of black olives. Yuck.
We successfully surprised my BFF with a birthday dinner (and dessert) at Clyde’s in Georgetown then headed out to a few bars with our friends. Mac and I didn’t really drink and headed back early since we did have a 5+ hour drive home today.

We’ve already set up the new shelves, moved the guest room furniture upstairs to our old room, and converted the old guest room downstairs to a workout room. Quite the weekend and my feet are letting me know (why do I still wear heels?!?!).

Ikea sucks me in so bad! I go in for 1 piece of furniture and leave with like 3 plants, a pot, 2 sets of kids hangers, a couple pillows and a rug. Gah! Hahah! It seems like the only thing I can manage to stop myself at are the treats! :/
