Mac and I cleaned out lots of stuff before we moved to minimize the boxes we were putting in storage. A decent amount of kitchen gear went to Goodwill because we’d had it for over three years, and we decided to replace it on the flipside. Alex over at Munchkins and the Military shared a brilliant idea: she was registering for baby stuff even though she wasn’t having a full baby shower to keep track of what she wanted to buy and to get coupons. So I’m going to make a new registry for us when we move again. Here’s what’s going on it.
Kitchenaid stand mixer and attachments. Right now, we don’t have any attachments but will be buying a few.
High quality cookie and baking sheets. I love airbake cookie sheets and am going to invest in a few true half sheet pans.
Knife set and block. Our first knife set was from Wal-Mart, and buying a cheap Cuisinart set was a major upgrade. Those wore out, so I’ll be upgrading once more.
Cutting boards. I love the color coded cutting boards. They’re great for preventing cross-contamination.
What are you kitchen must-haves?

We love our kitchen aid mixer! I would suggest getting the cover. We also have the food grinder and sausage stuffers. Hubby is a hunter and we need something to process the dear meat. I personally did not think the pasta maker attachment was worth it even with a coupon because the actual pasta machines are so cheap and accessible now. We just picked up a true half sheet pan and found a perfect fitting rack for it. I honestly have no clue how I lived without it. I also love our mandolin slicer. Its pretty small and it makes slicing veggies for salads and what not super quick.

The kitchen aid mixer is definitely a plus, and so are the air bake pans! We got those for my bridal shower last year and they are amazing. Also the kitchen aid blender is a nice touch, too… especially for those milkshakes!

I love the cutting board idea! We have a bunch, but the color code would be awesome. I really want the ice cream maker! Love my pasta roller. I don’t use it often, but it’s so much fun to use and the pasta turns out amazing.

Great list. We need a good knife block as well. Right now our knives are a MESS.

I love out Kitchenaid mixer, but we rarely ever used it. And I’m pretty sure I haven’t touches any of the attachments. Instead for must haves it would definitely be knifes, a good set of pots and pans, and a wooden cutting board. And we do love our food processor quite a bit, so if there’s one extra to add, that would definitely be it.

I love our mixer but never even thought of buying attachments for it!

I love our Kitchenaid. I could not imagine cooking without it! The blender is probably my second must have item. This is such a good idea to register for your next move!
